An old text of mine has found a new home. Many years ago I had written the introduction and annotations for the OUP student edition of Waiting for Godot. The little book did very well, and continued to be reprinted from the late 1980s to the early 2000s until OUP's agreement with Faber and Faber (Beckett's original publisher) expired. Now Rajiv Malhotra of Doaba Publications has included them in a critical companion to Godot that he has brought out. I hope that my essay in this new avatar finds the same favour with teachers and students as the original OUP version had done.
